We went this past October and hit up:
Petroni
Ferrari-Carano
Hanna
Ironhorse
Gary Farrell
McRostie
Calluna
We enjoyed all except Ironhorse, they were a little snooty for some reason. Dry Creek Gen Store has some awesome sandwiches.
If you’re using Uber/Lyft (it’s good to have both), be aware that sometimes during the day they can get pretty tied up and it can affect your agenda. 3 wineries a day is the most feasible plan, any more is tough. If you visit somewhere in the boonies, it can take a while for your Uber/Lyft to show up.

Matter of fact, here’s our itinerary:

We used a private tour company. We contacted them and mentioned what we were looking for generally. They gave us recommendations, made an itinerary, made winery tour reservations, and also made lunch and dinner reservations for us. All we had to do was show up. There were four in our group and the driver picked us up each day in an Escalade. Better than busses or trying to Uber.
Great folks with a lot of knowledge and contacts Very fun and a lot of small amenities with them as well.
They brought us places in Sonoma we never would have considered if we were planning this on our own. Loved many of the wineries they booked for us and we joined multiple wine clubs from this visit.
It’s a tad pricey but it takes the planning out of it and you also have a driver.
Places in Sonoma included Petroni Vinyards, which was essentially a fully private tour and one of our faves, and lunch at Girl and the Fig.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Enjoy your trip. Hope this is helpful.

Visit Macrostie, Lynmar, and Kistler. Great wines and tastings.
