Spring closed their doors, unfortunately...

Will look at Septime and Le Chateaubriand as we get closer to traveling.

Barrafina looks interesting, as well.

Thanks!

I haven’t eaten at Jules Verne but some folks I know have and you might want to re-allocate that meal. Sure it’s probably a really cool experience but being on the Eiffel Tower is that by itself.

Paris
Huiterie Regis
Da Rosa
Chez Michel (near Montmartre)
L’atelier de Joel Robuchon
Loads of chocolate spots
Breizh cafe
And all the other ones listed by others

London
Dishoom yes. Yes. Yes.
Barafina . Yes yes.
The River Cafe
The Duck and Rice
Tons of old pubs The Nags Head, Ships Tavern, The Grenadier, blackfriars, ye old Cheshire cheese
The American Bar
Mahiki
Frenchie

I do the same now. Only took a couple times of having a crappy meal/wasting time figuring out where to go because I purposely talked myself down from overplanning.

My missus is super into planning restaurants and things to do... I just get to show up and that works well for us... thankfully, she's not an over planner...

Yeah, we've put it squarely on the fence at this point. We have it reserved, but we'll see...

Thanks for the other suggestions - we'll definitely check into them today!

If you were really a lunatic about traveling, you would have more than one 5 day trip planned within the next 6 months. Haha

So, we killed Jules Verne and decided to go with L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon. If it sucks, then just don't tell me.

That said, from hat I've read, it looks like it's going to be great.
