Anyone got any recommendations or can’t miss attractions in these areas? Will be visiting last week of August.

In before don’t miss the big Trees.

Thanks

I’m not sure what fruits are in season that time of year, but there are several fruit stands East of Fresno that had some awesome fruit, specifically peaches.
That is a beautiful area of the country.

Make sure to spend at least a day at Kings Canyon national park in addition to Sequoia national park, both are amazing. They are both in my favorite parks I've visited in the US.

Also, I'd suggest entering and exiting the park through the west entrance rather than the south one if feasible. The south entrance is nothing but back to back switchbacks all the way down the mountain for miles and is pretty annoying as a driver and moreso as a passenger.

sequoia/kings canyon is easily one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. Beautiful and not too crowded.

get a trail map and get to hiking. It’s unforgettable

Love sequoia
We actually caught some snow the time we went
Those trees are massive
I agree not a crowded park that you can really enjoy

Santa Cruz Beach Amusement Park. Right on beach built in 1907. Very cool place to go.

There’s a GREAT beach spot called Seven Mile and Panther Beach, they are connected by a natural bridge.

Walking through the natural bridge looking East down Panther beach you see this outcropping.

In the back of the outcropping is a ’hidden cave’. I asked my wife to marry me in that cave about 20 years ago. Insanely beautiful spot.

Pay no mind to chick nearly falling to her death.

Try to visit Ben Lomond if possible, it’s a little mountain town just north of Santa Cruz.

Bump. Heading there 6/30-7/5. Looking to stock up on some good produce and meats, staying in three rivers, looking to hike and swim. Gonna be a scorcher

Was there two weeks ago. My son got car sick and threw up in the back seat. Good times.
