Wife and I go occasionally and we enjoy staying at hotel contessa or Mokara hotel and spa on river walk. Restaurants we like Boudros and Mi Tierra Cafe y Panderia. Tons to do and see on and around the river walk. NBA just started so spurs game is an option.

Menger Hotel. If you don’t stay there at least go to the bar for a drink. It is an old historic bar that Teddy Roosevelt used to recruit his Rough Riders in. It is across the street from the Riverwalk.
Favorite restaurant is Boudro’s on the Riverwalk.
If you are there on a Sunday check out the the Mariachi masses at the Spanish Mission.

Make sure to go to Iron Cactus on the Riverwalk. Top 10 tequila bar in the country (GREAT margaritas) and the food was amazing. There's also a place called Honchos Churros that was really good as well.

Go check out the Emma Hotel and the Pearl Brewing area.

Iron Cactus. Great Margs and they have my favorite salsa ever.
Plan to wait in line for a riverboat cruise for 1-1.5 hours. I went over memorial day weekend and got in line around 5:45 pm and didn't get on a boat until 7:15pm.
Club Wyndham is everywhere in the city, SCAM.
SeaWorld was actually pretty fun for the day!
Do the hemisphere tower at sunset, I think it was like $20/person.
