Family of 4 with 2 teenagers are looking for places to eat in the towns of Idaho Springs, Granby, Grand Lake, and Estes Park.

TIA

Only restaurant I’ve eaten at in Idaho Springs was Beau Jo’s Pizza which is very good or used to be!

Sagebrush BBQ wasn’t anything special but also wasn’t bad the other day. Cy’s deli was pretty good. Both in grand lake.

Scratch deli and the sandwiches from the grocery store across the street both have good sandwiches in Estes.

In estes park get some cinnamon rolls from cinnamons. Id try and book way ahead to make sure you get some. I thought it would be a tourist trap but they are very legit. If you call ahead you can skip the line instead of wait in line with a shitload of people and maybe not get any that day if they run out.

Don't know about Estes but the wester slope isn't a foodie heaven. Winter Park probably has the most options. Not a restaurant, but if you airbnb at Pearl's Place in Grand Lake, she will cook for you (for a price) and holy cow she is fantastic! Beautiful log home.

(Yeah, I'm shilling for my friends, but they do a great job.)

Other than perhaps the cinnamon rolls this board always mentions, there’s no where remarkable to eat in any of those towns.
The food will be meh and the service slow. You aren’t there for the food.

Westbound and Down in Idaho Springs has good beers and alright food, avoid the burger.

Second Beau Jo's if it still is as good as what it used to be. Good pizza and very different with the big sour dough bread crust you save for dessert with honey.

Smokin Yard BBQ in Idaho Springs is a fantastic stop. I recommend it to every single person I know who is going through there.
