No line at TSA Pre at MSY at 345 am. More people were using Clear. Airport seemed pretty busy.

Also, I'd bet that 50% of the time I go out of IAH, the Pre line is quicker than the Clear Pre line.
For example, when I went out last Monday, the Clear line was prob 45 min long, whereas it took 20m in just the Pre Check line.

I find it to be fairly common to be the case. The precheck line at any airport has to be like 2 to 3x longer than Clear for Clear to be faster. Their process is just slow.
Seattle is notorious for being an airport where Clear is Gold though. Their pre check line is a cluster.

Delays at MSY but it is hard to tell whether it is because of the shutdown or because of half naked lunatics trying to box the security guards.

Will be there Monday morning. At the height of the issues last Monday, it was 20m for Pre, so I'll prob just arrive an hour before I board.
