My family is deciding between a European tour or Japan/Singapore

Which would you recommend? The timeframe is 2 weeks. Price is roughly equal. I would vote for Japan but both would be great. I do not speak Japanese.
Any “must sees” also? I’ll bookmark and come back

Japan/Singapore. Europe is great and all but much easier to visit another time.

It depends—what do you guys most enjoy? I’d pick Europe over Japan all day long, based mostly on food and wine.
Did you mean Singapore as a separate destination trip? It’s 5200 miles between the two—6.5 hr flight. So if you’re trying to do both during one trip, you will spend far more time in transit than visiting a couple diff cities in Europe.

What does a "European Tour" consist of?

Yeah... Japan is great and all, but if I am choosing between any place(s) in Europe vs Japan/Singapore, I'm going Europe every time.

I wouldn't consider that a big issue for a 2 week long trip.

If you have two weeks definitely Japan and Singapore. You dont have to worry as much about the long flights and the jet lag. You will also get to see two totally different cultures. You can always do Europe later for a week or 10 days. Unless you live on the west coast going to Asia always seems daunting.

By European tour there would be stops in Germany, Sweden, and Italy and possibly the Netherlands. Japan and Singapore would be on the same trip.
