Agreed. Not sure I can even order a Vesper anywhere else after having one at Duke's this past September.

I wanted to try Indian food at Gymkhana

Some street foods in bourough market. (Mainly some street Indian and also a scotch egg )

St. John Smithfield for bone marrow and kidney pie (per abitafan08)

Hawksmoor for a steak

Also looked at one called the Barbary .

Any must try places from your experiences ?

Gymkhana on my list. Had a great meal at Dishoom Covent garden.

Borough Market has a bigger market (not sure if that’s the right way to describe it) on Sundays. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a very long lunch at St. John Spitalfield and absolutely loved it.

River Cafe. Great lunch.

Frenchie Covent Covent. Barrafina -maybe best Spanish food outside of Spain and better than man places in Spain.

Duck and the Rice-awesome chinese.

Places to go (that were scheduled for September): Kitty Fishers, Noble Rot, Louie.

American Bar is fantastic but don’t sleep on the Beaufort downstairs either.

Nice. Also looking at Guinea grill in Mayfair. Their menu looks fantastic and that’s really close to our hotel.

We closed out our recent trip with a dinner there. Loved it and highly recommend for a Sunday night dinner.

My favorite restaurant in London is Rules near Covent Garden. The oldest restaurant in town. Beautiful place with delicious food and a great bar upstairs.

Scott’s in Mayfair is a fantastic seafood restaurant. London s version of an amped up GW Fins.

If art is your thing, I would highly recommend going to the National Gallery

I’m going to assume that this is the Imperial War Museum, London.

Highly recommended. Budget a couple of hours at least.

Also, I second visiting the Greenwich Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, there's a couple of different ways to get there but it's worth the travel.

Uber River taxi is the way to go. If you find yourself out there make sure to go to the Painted Hall. It's a hidden gem that is like visiting the Sistine Chapel

That actually looks interesting but only goes on Saturday? Or that is the only day they are all open on the same day.

The Mayflower in Rotherhilde is fantastic. It’s called the Mayflower because the actual Mayflower used to dock there.

The traditional Sunday roast dinner is unbelievable. It wasn’t all touristy when I was there. All locals.
