Is there a way to see flight prices without knowing destination?

What I mean is, lets say me and the wife wanted to fly somewhere for a weekend but wanted to just wing it.

Book something on friday night and come home on Sunday and we know we want to fly out of MSY...is there a way to put in our departure airport and see a list of locations an airline flies to with prices for a specific day?

Google flights can do this for you easily. Type in MSY as origin, your dates, then click on the map. You can scroll around and look at all destinations.

Just thinking of getting away for a weekend and don't really feel like planning anything and want to be spontaneous but cost conscious at the same time.

For example...let's say I can get a one way flight on SW to Denver for $119 at 6am that might be something I would take a look at, I just don't want to look city by city

This and Kayak's Explore map are probably the best methods.

Google Flights and SkyScanner are the 2 sites that allow you to search this way.

Recently came across another cool site that is relevant to what the OP was posting about, so I thought I would bump this thread.

Here is the site: Flightsfrom

Awesome, thanks for the bump.

A slightly unrelated site I like to use, but is pretty neat is myflightradar24.com - you put in all your flights and it tracks it over time for you. Gives you a great graphic on a map but also gives stats like highest flown airline, total miles, time in air etc. etc.

It's a neat app for a frequent flier.

Denver doesn't have bars or restaurants open right now other than outdoor dining (which could go away too)

SW website used to have a really cool tool where you could input an origin and a price and it would spit out destinations you could fly to for that price. It was amazing and I used it all of the time and then they scrapped it one day. Not sure why.
