So weird here right now. Nothing crowded. No shows. Some stores not open.

Got a great rate at Bellagio. Pool area was great today. Easy to find chairs w umbrella. Drink service came quickly.

No waits at restaurants. Plenty of tables with open chairs.

But just not the same crazy energy.

Throw some money on the golf tournament for day 1 tomorrow. Drink by the pool and keep an eye on it.

why where you at pools or restaurants when theoretically strip clubs are just as willing and desperate for patrons?

If Alexandra is still working there, she'll show you her boob for $20.

We flew out of Love. About the same. Some eateries closed. Wear a mask in the airport (which you have to take off for security smh) and on the plane.

SWA boarding 10 at a time middle seats open. Flight was pretty pleasant.

I can only confirm the presence of the one she flashed us. I assume she has 2, and it did appear there were 2, but I did not get visual confirmation. Could have been a balloon filled with Elmer's glue under her shirt.

Have reservations at Bellagio 8-6 thru 8-10 for wifes birthday. Not big gamers so we were thinking about canceling trip due to lack of entertainment, shopping and various other restrictions. Any rumors about shutdowns or more severe restrictions?

Flew in and out of Vegas for our Utah trip a couple weeks ago. We spent a day there on our way back out and it seemed like a more degenerate crowd than usual.

Everyone seemed really happy to be out and about. All types of people in a good mood having a good time.

I noticed way more weed than normal. Had to switch out our room at Bellagio bc the first one reeked of it.

Store/shopping hours were ridiculous. Everything open from 10-7. I would think like 1-midnight would be smarter so people can get out after the sun goes down and they’d get more drunken spenders.

Still, great to see Americans of all shapes, colors, and sizes traveling and relaxing. Free self parking allowed me to park at each resort we went to today and walk through air conditioning instead of sweating outside. Keeping the rental saved me $ on Ubers, etc.

Dallasga6: The rates are amazing and you could find umbrellas easily at Bellagio pool. Plenty of good restaurants open and shopping and gambling to be had. They are selling tix to Cirque shows beginning 8/1. You may never get these kind of rates and attention at Bellagio again. All MGM resorts open except Park MGM. Most Caesar’s resorts open. Cosmo open. You’ll find plenty to do but it’ll be a more relaxed trip than usual.

Rent a car and head out to Red Rock Canyon for a day hike if you’ve never been. It’s hot, so bring lots of water.

I wouldn't be surprised if the mayor considered shutting Vegas down a bit. Not full lock down but a few restrictions.

Calico Hills is a good trail to start with

How often do you go? I was there in February, and you couldn't walk 10ft on the sidewalks without smelling it.

Never smelled it inside the Bellagio though. Did smell it at a couple of the older casinos on Fremont st.

Might be going next week.

Hope there isn't some crazy decision to shut it all down.

It's already bad enough the bars wont be open.

You can get table service drinks at any open restaurant, when gambling, and at the pool. No problem getting alcohol anywhere.

They will shut down more next week but probably not casinos for economic reasons. Fremont has been packed this weekend at night. More people are wearing masks but still a lot of bars staying open by trying to sell chips and snacks as a loophole that they are shutting down one by one.
