I’ve been delayed on JetBlue a couple of times. Once they gave me a credit that was more than what I paid. Another time they paid for me to stay at the TWA hotel when my flight to JFK that was supposed to land at 10 pm ended up arriving at 3 am and I was too damn tired to deal with getting to Manhattan

flight to JFK

So when is TD going to start picking up what JFK is putting down? Just like connecting in ORD or Toronto between October and April, some people believe this will not go well. And that's without NYC congestion issues.

I'm patiently waiting for the next thread about JFK in approx 5 hours from now and how it farked up someone's trip.

Will do. I'm hoping to get into a certain restaurant in Modena but I think it's a slim chance.

The budget airlines all have their gotchas and I really don't like any of them. It's a gamble I have to take a few times a year when the schedule works best.

Last month i was on Frontier and a huge fight broke out at the gate.

This month on Ryanair I found they won't make boarding passes for non-EU citizens, which is never a problem for other carriers in the EU.

Last year Breeze utterly broke one off in me and didn't even have a phone number.

If I take a low-fare airline I have my guard up and build in some time for f***ups because they tend to happen.

But then you have American and they are really good and being full price and stupid, too.

TLDR fly Delta if at all possible.

My wife and I flew a BA A380 from London to DFW a couple of weeks ago. We were on the upper deck in premium economy. It was far better than Americans similar class. Seats were roomy and comfortable. The plane was really nice. You will be impressed I’m sure.
