Ideas for an active vacation spot with nice accommodations in mid June

I know it's last minute so some spots may be fully booked. Not looking to rough it, want to come home to a comfortable hotel with good food options at night, but want to spend the days hiking, kayaking, or just driving seeing natural beauty.
Not necessarily tied geographically, but thinking somewhere in the PNW or Colorado/Utah. Also briefly looked at Banff or Costa Rica.
Olympic National Park stands out if I can find a good hotel. Seems earlier for Glacier and some of the main sights may still be closed for weather.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

We went to Missoula, MT a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn, which is new and nice enough. There are good restaurants and bars within walking distance and drivable hikes, fishing, etc...

Either the northwest (WA/OR/ID/MT) or the northeast (ME/NH/VT/MA) would be my suggestions. It's been super nice in the northeast here recently, tons of hiking, mountains, lakes, and summer foods.
Id base your trip off costs at this point- Where can you fly to the cheapest and get a good deal on a hotel/AirBnB? If you were months out I'd say you have more flexibility but this soon in to a trip I'd look at costs as a factor

You can go to New Orleans and dodge bullets. It's a good workout

Arcata, Eureka, Cresent City California are all smaller towns with great hiking in the redwoods close by. Wales frequent Cresent City. Not sure the exact time for that though. Redwoods NP is better than the Grand Canyon in MHO.

I'm assuming you've already done Nooga/Smokies.
I would suggest taking transit times once you hit the destination airport into account. Costa Rica can be a 45 minute van ride to an all inclusive with plenty of activities once you clear immigration, or you could spend hours renting a car and driving to popular designations in PNW/CO/UT.
Another option, if you're into water based stuff primarily, is Roatan. Snorkeling, kayaking, etc. Do *not* head to mainland Honduras if you don't know Hondurans, though. Since you're presumably flying from Atlanta, couldn't you hit a couple of interesting spots in Colombia, Puerto Rico, etc., on a direct flight? Nearly all of Central America is direct from IAH, but I never looked at that from ATL.

Thanks everyone. Got a deal on a flight to SLC so we are renting a car, driving to Zion for 3 nights, then driving back and staying at the St Regis in Deer Lake near Park City. Got a surprisingly low fare there as well.
Any further advise there would be great. I see the Narrows trail at Zion is currently closed so prayers it opens before we get there.
