Just booked Airbnb for 3 nights in hot springs at the end of July for wife and me. Anybody got recs for daytime activities, food, drinks, etc. Both in good shape and enjoy eating and drinking as much as anybody else.

Garvan gardens if it is open. Superior brewery in town for food and beer. Ohio Club for a cocktail.

Eat at Deluca's. Reservation strongly recommend.

Ride some bikes at North Woods if you all are into that sort of thing. Great trail system. Garvan Gardens is definitely worthwhile.

Take her to Murfreesboro and make her find her upgraded rock.

Waterfall hike at Lake Catherine is very nice. Day hikes in the Hot Springs parks are nice too. Bleu monkey grill had some great food.

We are headed there next week. Is there anywhere near there to go rafting or tubing on a river ? My son has asked about doing that.

There are multiple kayak/canoe spots in the surrounding area on both the Ouachita River and Caddo River

Eat at Steinhaus the German Restaurant. There’s a great coffee shop called the Red Light Roastery outside of downtown. We stayed at the owner’s AirBnB right next door last time we went. Take lots of empty milk jugs/water bottles and bring back lots of water from the fountains.

We hiked Lake Catherine as well as Hot Springs National Park. Spent an afternoon at Garvan Gardens. Did the Thermal Baths at Quapaw Bathhouse. Had Breakfast at The Pancake Shoppe, Kollective Tea and Coffee and Wills Cinnamon Shop. Ate at Taco Mamas, 501 Prime, Bubba Brews, BubbaLus, Rockys and Hotel Hale. We were there for 4 nights and never at a bad meal.

We are looking at a trip there in the Fall. Where did you stay and would you recommend it?

Well we stayed at The Arlington...and no.
We did stay one night in a Tipi at Fox Pass Cabins, which was awesome. They also had a couple of cabins there if you aren't set on staying in a hotel or on one of the lakes. If you want to stay on the strip there are two new hotels; The Waters and Hotel Hale. If I went back I'd stay at either of those.

We went to Luckys in Glennwood, AR. The kayaking and canoeing you can do all day, but if you want to tube you have to be checked in before 12, it's a 4 hour float. We showed up at 12:45 and didn't know that. It's about a 45 minute drive from Hot Springs.

The Waters is a nice hotel if you like the small boutique type hotel. Good location. Just know that you'll need to valet most likely.
