Depends on where you start; but, even if it's an hour, still quicker to get to P'cola Beach, & no boat ride.

no boat ride

But that’s half the fun. You’d rather be in a car for an hour than on a boat that also has food & a bar?

Which brewery and which beer bar was your favorite?

What night did you go to the Ugly Pirate?
Trivia, turtle races?

Went to the Ugly Pirate on Saturday night, they had a band that was starting as we were paying to leave. Always enjoy their pizza.

Favorite brew place was Hops and Growlers, while they didn't have anything unique in bottles they have 20+ taps. Nothing really stood out although the SO liked the one called Fruit Salad.

Chandeluer has the best set-up of any of the breweries as Crooked Letter had all of 4 beers on tap and 1 of them was from Fairhope in Alabama. It looks like they're just getting the place set up but they have a fantastic patio and it is a dog-friendly place. Biloxi Brewing almost every beer was a different version of a fruited Kolsch.
The Gulf coast is behind in the haze game, a few were labeled as NEIPA but then you received your beer and it was an amber color that you could see through, was more West Coast type IPA.
Murky Waters the first time I went was fantastic, the last two times have been very poor, dry, lacking flavor. Not sure what the deal is as quality seems to have gone downhill.

I need to hit up Chandeluer.

Was there a girl lead singer in the band at the Pirate? They often have Kelsey Moran play, and she's definitely worth watching play a guitar.
Her band at the Mockingbird.

Check out Long Beach Deli next time for the bottle selection and some on tap. Great food too.

Can say I enjoyed it this weekend

Definitely a nice peaceful weekend for us out on the coast.

The place down in Ocean Springs we had once went to called Leo's now is Glory Bound Gyro Comp. or something like that...they kept the same pizza's and a lot of the menu from Leo's along with the Awesome pizza oven they have! Love the patio with live band and the beer selection is on point! Great times down there, walk and get a pop at Pop Bros' for the kids!

Good Times! It's nice to do things away from the Casinos

Yesterday we did the Marine Life reboot which is called Ocean Adventures. It is part of the IMMS complex, but the new section just opened up 2 months ago.

We were there for 2.5 hours. They have a huge ray pool, sea lion show, dolphin show, bird show, plus you can take a little tram to the older section where there is a discovery room and a little museum. They also have a reptile show, which we did not do, and you can feed birds in the aviary, which we also did not do because it was closed when we went and the kids were hot and ready to go.

I was super impressed. It was like $15 bucks per adult and $14 per child, plus tax. They have a little gift shop and also a little cafe. They also have a small playground.

Definetly not an all day thing, but something fun to do either as a quick road trip from a short distance, or as part of a longer weekend.

They also have the Kroc Center in Biloxi which is a small indoor waterpark thing.
