Haven't been since I was a kid. Now taking my kids. Learned Cade's Cove is down until March. So that's a no go. We hade went over to Cherokee NC while there as a kid. Is that still a cool destination one day or not anymore? Plan on doing the Dixie Stampede and Hatfields and Mcoys. Need help filling this week in. Thanks

Who gives a damn if YOU think it's trashy?

If this person wants to take his family there, then don't come in here and shite on the thread if you're not going to provide anything to help them.

1) sedate your kids if you arrive via sevierville, and save that for the way out
2) definitely do a day at dollyworld
3) rent a cabin
4) plan several days in the park, its one of the most beautiful places in the world
5) have fun

Going up Feb. 15th. We have a nice 3 story 5 bedroom log home "cabin" if you will, overlooking a valley thru the mountains South East of Gatlinburg a few miles. So Dollywood is worth the price$$? And when you say spend a few days in the park....what park are you talking about? Gonna be a lot of relaxing and grilling steaks outside as well. Hoping for a little snow to top it off.

Dollywood
Pancakes
Coasters

Drive thru the smokies over to Cherokee.

Pro tip: If you want good BBQ eat at Boss Hogg's. It's a locals place and great. Not cheap, but great.

Last time I went we rode the ski lift up the mountain and went tubing.

Aquarium
Pigeon forge
Distillery
NC/Tenn state line
Cades cove
Hiking in park

Next time I plan on doing the mountain coaster

Also been to

Dollywood
Dixie stampede
Some other show
Car museum
Wax museum
Several other attractions in PF.

Best part is sitting in a hot tub at the cabin, relaxing and drinking some beers. Last time I went it snowed but the hot tub was still relaxing.
