There's no cost savings that could convince me to make that drive with my kids...

I paid $367 a piece from ATL to Bozeman June 27 to July 7 at the beginning of February. Not sure what they are running now but glad I got them when I did.

I usually go to Google.com/flights. Enter your destination and dates, then you can track that fare. If it goes up or down you get an email. Also if you have more than one city you can fly from check and track fares from those airports. Changing the origination can make a huge difference.

Use google flights to help or if you know which airline it’ll be figure out what the best time to book is. For Delta for example it’s usually just under 2 months out for a typical flight that isn’t full already. I just booked a $600 flight to Caribbean that is typically $770-850 consistently for the route by just waiting and watching over the course of a month.

What used to be a $350 Vegas flight is now $600+ anytime I try to book. shite costs more.

Its nuts right now. I fly to Virginia every summer for a work show (and bring my wife and daughter). Luckily work pays for my wife and I ticket, but I have to pay for my daughter.

I always fly Delta - $765 is the cheapest right now. Years past, it was always $400ish.
