Yeah, the first two weeks of December is typically one of the best times to go to Orlando
Yup, had a friend who worked for Universal a few years back. Said the first two weeks of November and December are their slowest times of the year and the best to go.

We took the family to Disney last year the week after Thanksgiving. Crowds were non-existent until noon and the weather was a tad cool. Going to any of the parks after an extended school holiday should be less crowded than normal. I'll take any advantage I can get to not deal with a mass of people.

If you stay on property use the extra hour and get in line at Ministry of Magic. Single rider lines are the way to go if kids are old enough. It was kind of pointless to do mobile ordering then get to restaurant and have to wait in long line for table then can’t submit your order until have a table number. Yoshi ride and dragon racer’s alley not worth the wait.

See, I've heard complete opposite. Risk of ride breaking due to the shitty sensors they use and you sitting and wasting away time instead of hitting all the other stuff while you can and then doing Ministry like 6-7pm.

Maybe so. We went there first and were close to the front by the time ride opened, just our experience. My 9 year old couldn’t do single rider so that slowed us down a lot. I know the wait was 3.5 + hours later but not sure about that late in day.
If going soon I would say you can get the app and check wait times at various times during day before you go.
