Water park looks to be opened.

Might be fun to take them to the Track and take them go kart racing.

I hope you aren’t going next week. It’s going to be insanely crowded and crazy no matter what you try and do away from the beach

Everything is open except bars. Their are as many people here that I’ve seen in the eight years I have lived here. The beach and water were beautiful today but were very crowded. This week and next week are typically the peak weeks for tourist season. Come on down everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and are oblivious to the possibility of getting the virus.

Spent 4 days in mobile and now in Destin. It is very crowded. We come every year at this time. Noticed a lot of stores and restaurants closing earlier. Had an hour and a half wait at whataburger last night. Walmart closed at 8:30 and Publix at 9.

All of that should be open and fine. Make reservations early where possible.

They have like a combo sunset/dolphin cruise on a "speed" boat that is fun for the whole family.

It's been a while, but they had a pirate ship that was fun for the kids. They cruise around and shoot water guns at folks (certain groups seem to be willing participates in the area), play music, play games.

Go to the Village at Baytown Wharf and let the kids play in the game room, zipline, rope course, etc. There is also a little trail that goes out behind it to the bay and little bar/marina a half a mile or so. There are a few small forts back there.

Something for the kids to do???

The ocean bro... and the beach...

I don’t get people who go to destin and feel like they have to find activities for their kids... the beach and ocean is all you need.

Crowds and shorter hours for restaurants

Pretty damn annoying at dinner time

Agreed. We have reservations but without wait times are crazy.

To OP, just bring your kids to the beach. Like others have said, I don’t understand people that drive to the beach only to do other stuff.

That's all I need and all the kids need most of the time. If you are there for more than 4 or so days it's nice to bring younger kids to do other stuff. Especially if the other stuff are things you can't do at home.

Mine are older now, so it's just the beach and pool when we go and I'm fine with that.
