Denver/Red Rocks

The last few CO threads have focused outside the city, so I'm asking for a little guidance in town.
Wife and I are going for a show at Red Rocks in Sept. From what I've read, the RiNo seems to be a good part of town for our general interests, but I'm wide open to suggestions.
We like live music, art/galleries, food and drinks.
Related question: best way to get to Red Rocks without having to drive? Open to party bus, uber/lyft or whatever since there appears to be no public transit option.

In order of best:
1. Private driver/bus
2. Uber/lyft
RR is a pain in the arse to get to and out of, but it is worth it.

There appears to be a bus that runs out of RiNo. The private car route, while pricey, isn't off the board yet.

LoDo is cool if you like museums and the like and The Art Hotel is a really nice hotel right smack in the middle of all that. That place will spring for a free lyft to and from your destination of choice, provided its within a 2 miles radius of the hotel.
As for The Monoliths....Tailgating both before and after are your best friend. South Lot is a great spot that is a close walk to the venue itself. The traffic afterwards is an absolute nightmare so hunkering down for an hour after the show is kinda cool, especially if it isn't raining. Otherwise yes, shuttles run and there are always ubers and such.
Point is, dont rush Red Rocks, especially if its your first time. its a breath taking venue. Sitting up high you can see Denver and the heat lightning in the clouds if there are any. Better acoustics up there as well.

Oh, def not planning to rush in/out. Just more concerned with there being reasonable options for me and the missus (no pics) not having to be behind a wheel.

Live in Colorado and don't overnight in Denver often, but stayed at the LimeLight hotel for a wedding last year and had a great weekend. Right by Union Station if you want to move around the city without using ride-shares.
Area was clean, walkable with lots to do. Larimer Square is good for food and bars. Museums are more concentrated by the Art Hotel previously mentioned, but the two are connected by the 16th St Mall, walkable shops, restaurants etc... the mall has a free transit system that makes it easy to move back and forth, but we just walked it.
There are a number of shuttles services that will take you to and from Red Rocks. I have not used them, but I have heard Uber is a pain after the events, so that may be the better option if you want something predictable.

Stay at the Ramble hotel and call it a day. If you’re in LoDo just stay away from Coors Field at night on the weekend. Absolute madness and nothing but trouble. I generally avoid LoDo proper living here. If I go there, I am out before the riff raff.
Private shuttle is unfortunately going to be your best bet. They are trying to come up with more public transportation options to RR but they aren’t there yet. I think you can take it to the Lakewood government building then bus from there?
