Went to Norh Pole Alaska two years ago, stayed at Pleasant Acres. We stayed in the igloos but my favorite part was drinking coffee while watching the caribou, He has them fenced in so you can watch them whenever you would like. We stayed there instead of the Borealis base camp because we had so many activities planned: snow mobiles, dog sledding and drove to the Castner ice cave. We did the Northern light viewing at Chena Hot Springs, they bring you to the top of the mountain in a snow cats for an unbelievable viewing of the Northern Lights. They also have a yurt up there for heat and serving hot chocolate. Fairbanks has some great restaurants, 15 min drive from there and about the same to Chena Hot Springs.
Just like skewbs said rent a car and take your time it is a beautiful drive. Driving along Howe Sound up to whistler is worth renting a vehicle so you can soak up the scenery.

It works great for birds, walked up to a flock of turkeys going to my stand, shot one about 20 yards away. I have killed 6-7 turkeys with my bow. Deer hunting probably not as effective but still can tell a difference. Had a group of 8 does come in early so I shot one, the group spooked a little. They came back so I tried to put another arrow on just in case a buck showed but knocked my quiver off the limb to the ground. Climbed down the tree ladder, retrieved my quiver and climbed back into my stand and the does never moved. (it was windy but still incredible). All the people that I hunt with use HECS for elk, deer and turkey hunting. Duck hunting nobody uses it. All my friends have a story of something happening that is not supposed too. It is kind of like Ozonics some people believe and some think it is a waste of money, your choice.
Had gunite pool for 20 years and it is beautiful. If I had to choose now, it would be a fiberglass. I could just dig it up and give it to somebody with young kids. Pool was great whenever my daughter was growing up. Would not trade the BBQ's and cornhole tournaments with all her friends for nothing. Whenever everybody leaves, the pool does not get used as much. Whatever you decide, enjoy you pool.

Talked with my cousin who has been about 15 times to Costa Rica, all different parts. He said I would have the best time there. Everything is already booked so just seeing what are the best activities to do.

Wife and I are going in June, what are some of the best things to do there?
Glacier is the most beautiful place I have ever been. We went for two weeks, did Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier. "Going to the Sun road" might not be open by then but I hope that it will because it is the most beautiful drive I have ever been on (wildlife and scenery). If you love to hike, then you have picked the right park. Iceberg Lake and Grinnel Glacier hikes are unbelievable but I would suggest staying at the Many Glacier hotel whenever you decide to do these hikes. If you want to shorten the Grinnel hike you can take the boat from the hotel that will take off 3-4 miles. Whitefish or Columbia Falls are great places to stay. You can enter the park early without a pass for "going to the sun road" but log on to the National park app and you should not have any problem getting a pass to drive the road. Enjoy your trip!

I will buy one from you if they come in but think they will catch that error. Merry Christmas to you, if they don't

South of Pecan Island last weekend plenty of teal but no big ducks
Go to Lowes, just did all my outside doors. It was about $45 per door to do but it was the thick weatherstripping.

Whitewater rafting and golf course are great. They do have a mountain coaster that the kids rode. Food truck about mile east was pretty good and pizza place in the main square was good. Plus, Durango is only 30 min away. About the same for all resorts in Colorado rafting, golf, side x sides and hiking but the mountains during the summer is always great. Get to beat the heat for a couple of weeks!
Angel Fire or Red River but Red River has the better small ski town feel.
Leaving tomorrow for North Pole AK, went this year because of the high activity but we split ours in two trips. We went on a cruise during July and now back for February, wanted to go in March but couple traveling with us could not go then. Travel close as you can to the fall or spring equinox for the Northern Lights for the best opportunity and June, July or August for the whales. September would be a really good time to try and see both. Winter months in Cabo is great for Whale watching because the weather is great and you get really close encounters.
Wife and I are going in February. Plan going on days close to the new moon. Go as close to the spring equinox as you can. As one person stated, there is a lot to do during the winter but it will be cold. We have the Chena Hot Springs, snowmobiling, dogsledding. Castner ice caves and Reindeer ranch as our activities during the day. I would love if you hit me up after you get back to provide some information about your trip. Have a great trip.

My daughter is going with LSU abroad in July, I was wondering if you were ever concerned about your safety?
Get Red Guard, mostly used to waterproof showers but the barrier it puts on is unbelievable.
Manta, inside the Cape. Best meal I have had in Cabo and the views of the arch at sunset are great. Your wife will reward you!

If it is a right of way, then the landowner's responsible. I just had 5 trees cut down because of pine beetles. Power lines were running through the limbs of the trees but they would not come cut the tree. They would trim the limbs but that was it.
