Heading to Costa Rica next month with the fam and looking for recommendations for activities/specific providers. We will fly into Liberia, rent a car, and spend 3 days in Arenal Area (staying at The Springs) and then 4 day in Playa Conchal. Ideally zip line, waterfall tour, wildlife tour (kids really want to see sloths) and fishing out of Flalmingo. Also, any recommendations for restaurants?

Thanks

When we were there 15 years ago we rode horses to the base of the La Fortuna waterfall (Arenal region) and swam in the pool there.

But ziplines, hot springs, volcano views, are all cool activities in the Arenal region

Sloth sanctuary near Arenal

The Springs will have a ton of info on all the activities for the Arenal area. Plus, The Springs has fun activities on premises as well.

Where are you staying in Playa Conchal?

We were in LaFortuna in early January.

IF you like ziplines, there is a park with 12 of them, which we did, and they were awesome IF you like ziplines. My gf loved it. I survived it.

We also did white water rafting on the Balsa. We really enjoyed it too. It was pretty first class.

The town itself is a pretty cool place to hang out.

I can't offer anything for specific wildlife.

Puretrek canyoning. Hike through the canyon in the rainforest repelling down 90 foot waterfalls.

Skytrek zip lining.
