Luckily most of my business travel internationally is on business class. So whatever Pj's they give me.

Otherwise, some nice birddog shorts or similar and a stretchy shirt. Can also throw a blanket on if cold but never want to be hot.

shorts

So many people say shorts. I would freeze my arse off. I need some kind of pillow, a blankets, I trade my shoes for slippers or slipper socks, and a big hoodie or sweatshirt. Loose jogger type pants and a soft tshirt as the bottom layer.

Vuori dream knit is very comfortable. I don’t like flying in shorts so joggers are perfect. Tight or even normal fitting elastic waist gives me a stomach ache so I size up always. I put those with tennis shoes and a T-shirt and a lululemon scuba crop. That’s my travel uniform. I’ll put on compression socks (if provided) and kick off and stow my shoes. I’m not old or unhealthy enough to buy myself compression garments at this time. After last years Italian luggage debacle I keep a change of clothes and toiletries in my carryon. Wine or a Bloody Mary and an Ativan and I might be able to sleep if laying down.

Friend,

Few things disgust me more than people who do not wear business attire when traveling by air. You will never catch me flying in anything other than a suit and a tie. If it is overnight, I may take off my tie. I usually spend the flight to finish a book or two or to work on an post for the OT.

The idea that people are walking around in sweatpants or even put on pajamas during a flight is more repulsive to me than you could ever know. The notion that suits are uncomfortable falls on deaf ears here. If airlines held to dress codes like Galatoire's, traveling would be a far more pleasant and genteel experience. People would treat one another with more respect and would be so much more courteous. Ban alcohol and casual on planes and make flying great again.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Most of the major airlines provide pajamas when flying in first and business class. You're more than welcome to sit, uncomfortably, in your suit. I will be in my QSuite pod sleeping in pajamas like a baby.

I sleep in my underwear at home and same on planes, put on some lounging pants when I have to get up and pee. This was in business flying for work.

shoes is first priority , your feet will swell, and your wingtips will not go back on.

book is next priority , planes are good for reading, sleeping and drinking. airline provides the drink

do not wear solid light color clothing. The opportunity to spill something is great
