Going next week. Going to Wrigley for a game. Will hit the Navy Pier and the History museum. What else with kids?

If possible, do the Wrigley tour.
Well worth it and you actually get your moneys' worth from it

All of this. Seriously, these are fantastic suggestions. The guided river architecture tour is a favorite of my wife and mine. Shedd Aquarium is awesome, only downside is you have to spend extra money to see the good exhibits, but to me they were worth it.
-If you do the Lincoln Park Zoo consider walking through Lincoln Park and making your way to the North Ave Beach. Should be nice weather to enjoy Lake Michigan
-Walk through Grant Park and Millennium Park so they can see the Bean. Touristy no doubt, but kids would think it's cool.

Went this late spring with a 4.5 and 2 year old to visit family and hit up Wrigley. We got the 5 pass City pass thing for the Architecture boat tour, museum of science and industry, ferries wheel at navy pier (only thing we did there), sears tower, and field museum. Thoughts kids were too young for Planetarium otherwise would of done that, aquarium is solid but I've been there before and honestly feel like there are aquariums all over so you should visit something more unique.
Not sure how many days you have but while the science and industry museum especially the U-boat is badass it's pretty far south and really an all day afair. Sucks museums don't open until 9 and close at 5pm so it's basically an all day thing outside of night time.
if you don't make it Chicago often though there's so much to do if you like to just enjoy nice big cities. It's nice to stroll around the Lincoln park area, Michigan avenue and the loop, and the local guys on here can help you with some other small neighborhoods too.
Oh, we enjoyed lunch and a couple hours in China town too it's pretty close to the loop and super easy access from the El.
