When you're in the ciudad amurallada, pretend it's New Orleans. Don't make eye contact or acknowledge the mime street performers. They'll follow you and harassingly mimic you until you pay them to go away.
Do a tour of the Castillo de San Felipe.
You can get fried fish (pescado frito) with coconut rice along the beach and it's usually really fresh. Served with the head still on. My wife recommends a fish called mojarra.
Honestly a week is a little long to stay there, but there's plenty to walk around and do.

Go to this club, forgot the name, but it’s something like “Club Dubai” or something with an Arabic name”, my memory is shot.
Absolutely THE BEST EXPERIENCE YOU WILL EVER HAVE, and I don’t say that lightly.
I’m not joking, Never seen anything like it in my life.
Waterfalls. Pools, private rooms & women everywhere.
When walking in “old Town”, put your wallet in our front pocket. There are groups of women that will pick pocket you, by buddy got his phone stolen and we wa actually got it back. Long story for another day.
But it’s beautiful country and city. Old town Cartagena has beautiful architecture and an ambiance like no other.
