California Beach

I am looking for a good California beach resort for the family (wife + 11 month-old) later this summer. Preferably would have easy beach access, a nice pool, babysitter services, and nearby restaurants. We will be using our credit card points through Chase Ultimate Rewards. Budget is $600/night. We prefer small town vibes vs. big city.
Any recommendations?

Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel (Laguna Beach is a 5 minute drive down PCH, Dana Point is about 10 minutes the other way). It sits on Thousand Steps Beach which is maybe the prettiest beach in southern california.

I don't know what your experience with beach resorts is, but the Pacific north of Santa Barbara is cold especially in summer. The warmer beaches south of St B are mostly urban. Cautions aside, the LaJolla Village and LaJolla Cove have a few places separated from the ocean by parks. It's also an interesting part of the city. A good small place is Scripps Inn. Laguna beach an hour north is less urban and has many choices.

My favorite beach in SoCal is Corona del Mar.

Just got back from a week in San Diego. We spent ouy days between La Jolla, Mission, and Pacific Beaches...
I would suggest you go there. Ja Jolla is nice and that would be a spot where you'd find a legit babysitting service at one of their nice hotels.
San Diego is super chill... we've been twice already this year and would go back in a moment's notice.

Terranea is good, but you won't get small town vibes as it's in LA.
