I have not fished there, but have seen Redrum recommended quite a bit.

You can Google Cabo sport fishing and get the times of year for the various species. It's a world class sport fishing area.

There are some great restaurants and watering holes in Cabo. I don't care for the over commercialization of Cabo but it does have a lot of redeeming qualities as well.

Fishing down there is great. Tuna, marlin,Dorado etc. All big sportfish. You will usually come home with something. Rarely are you skunked.
Then when you get off the boat, you can bring your fish to one of the restaurants in town and they'll fix it up for you.
All the captains on different boats work together to make try to make sure they are all catching and know where it's hot.

Eat at flora farms, get some golf in, avoid scuba trips. We did the Cabo Rey sunset cruise that’s mentioned in one of the threads on here and it was absolutely fantastic. Sit downstairs and pay the extra money for the plated dinner, you wil have a front row seat for the awesome show.

Also....+1 for tacos guss it’s some damn tasty grub and on the cheap.

So you're 12 or younger? That's pretty weird.

Then I know you've been to Cabo because HGG goes there frequently.

This board is not what I thought it would be. The sticky is awesome but there are 20 “hey everyone I’m going to ____ what should I do there?” threads for every 1 review/picture post.

I’ve not posted a review so I don’t have room to talk but if the reviews and reports got bigger this board would be that much better. The topics about Nashville, Vegas shows, planning a trip to Europe are aplenty.

I've fished with redrum. Really enjoyed it. October/November is a great time of the year for marlin/tuna/dolphin.
Summer is more snapper/rooster/striped marlin if I remember.

Ryan and Luis are cool. Buy them a couple Pacifico lights and talk fishing/hunting with them. Good guys from Texas.

I agree with this. Drank plenty cold ones with those 2 guys.

I have caught over 60 marlin with those guys over the years. One november we caught 27 in 3 days.

Best time to go is Sept-Dec in my opinion. But definitely ask Ryan before you book. Tell him what you're after and he will definitely hook yall up. Have beers at his bar outside the shop when yall get in and hear whats biting/fish tales.

Bought that CCA trip a few years ago. Experience was first rate. Nice boat, even nicer accommodations if those haven’t changed. Caught a couple of sailfish and a number of mahi. Have them clean the mahi and get them cooked at one of the restaurants for dinner.
