Travelling to Shreveport in a few weeks with kids in tow. How is the area around the Hilton Homewood Suites / Garden Inn in Bossier City? Or would we be better off staying somewhere in Shreveport? We'll be attending an event in the NE area of Shreveport.
Thanks,
Thanks,

with kids, I'd probably stay at the Courtyard Marriot on the Boardwalk

Actually it’s near Broadmoor... I had the wrong address. Think we landed on a suite in BC.
No, not travel ball

For near Broadmoor, I’d look at the Hampton Inn on Millicent near Tinseltown. Just a few minutes from Broadmoor and near all the chain restaurants and retail stores along Youree Drive.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shreveport South - Park Plaza is also convenient for your area. It’s in a business area of banks and offices, no nearby residences, so should be pretty safe.
The bossier hotel you mentioned is nice, but it is not that convenient to Broadmoor area.

Stay away from the hotels near the airport and those in downtown Shreveport. Would be best to stay on Bossier side near the boardwalk.

I travel to Shreveport for work often, was there last weekend. Usually stay at the Wingate Wyndam Bossier, fairly new hotel. The City is still a mess from the ice storm as some areas were still without water. The entire city of Shreveport had a boil water advisory. Definately avoid the airport area hotels.

What in the world could possibly be going on in the NE area of Shreveport?
Or do you mean on the Bossier side?
