See title. The gf and I are looking to head to Vegas in November. Wanting to stay 3 nights somewhere on the strip.

Are there better ways to save money booking, other than using standard sites like Expedia?

what credit cards do you have ?

if you have a chase CC that qualifies for their luxury hotel collection, you can get an awesome deal for mgm signature, which includes a bunch of perks, the best of which being a $100 resort credit and free breakfast for 2, per day.

Guess you don’t have a caesars or MGM card for gambling? They usually send the specials and stuff out begging folks to come during the summer with discounted rates

I do not.

Going to keep looking. Figure I have 6 months, that's plenty of time to find something.

Right now, looks like Expedia is gonna be $700 per person for 3 hotel nights, airfare and all associated fees. I can afford that easy, but obviously would like to save money if the option is there.

Are you going during the weekend or week?

$700/person sounds pretty steep, unless they’ve got you at one of the primo hotels (Wynn, Cosmo, Venetian, etc) or the flight is ridiculously expensive.

Flying out Friday morning from New Orleans. Flying home Monday afternoon.

The Venetian is showing $522 per person for flight and hotel for that span. I was including daily resort fees and what not in my original pricing.

Join M Life. It's free. You dont have to have any points accumulated to book any of the MGM resorts (including Mandalay, Delano, Aria, Bellagio, MGM Grand, Park MGM). All M Life members get discounted rates. I haven't found better rates anywhere for MGM resorts than through M Life.

If you want to save $, book Vegas Mon-Thurs. Those are the best deals.

Will definitely check out M. Life.

We are locked in to it being a weekend trip though due to work schedules.

Allegiant Air. Direct flights to LSV and cheap hotel rates. You can stay pretty much anywhere on the list. Yes it’s a shitty airline but with direct flights they don’t lose your luggage and I’ve flown shittier airlines too.

Any chase CC? How does this work?

I'm not sure if it's any chase CC, but i've used it before with my reserve, sapphire and united cards. My guess is it works with most, if not all, of the cards that have an annual fee.

go to www.lhrcollection.com

if you're familiar with AmEx's fine hotels and resorts program, this is the Chase version. The best deals in Vegas are at mgm signature.

Not familiar with that but I'll check it out for Chase. I do have the Reserve and never heard of this
