Why not stay at the Cabildo Apartments? Just say that you are on da mayor's protective d'tail.

Don’t stay on Bourbon, stay at the St Vincent Hotel. Uber to Royal St during the day. Eat uptown mostly.

Someone else mentioned Holiday Inn French Quarter Chateau Lemoyne. That isn't on Bourbon but very close. I stayed there before and it was very convenient.

Depending on what they are willing to spend on the hotel stay will dictate where they can stay. Cheap but close to Bourbon is the Courtyard Marriott. It's connected to the Ritz. If they want to stay on Bourbon either the Four Points Sheraton or the Royal Sonesta. Monteleone is another nice hotel right off Bourbon. The Roosevelt is on the other side of Canal Street from Bourbon but it's a great hotel with a great bar and restaurant.

Hotel Le Marais is very close to Bourbon and only 200 feet from a NOPD station.

This is a real cool place, only 2-3 stories tall, great courtyard and a cool bar inside. Also rooms are nice as well.

Hotel Mazarin
