How much did it cost, roundtrip? Thinking about going up there in the next couple years with family. Just wondering what kind of $ to expect.

Thanks in advance

Frontier sells $51 and $81 one-way tickets. If you want to go during holidays the price will double.

In general, the price range for round trip tickets MSY<>DEN is between $200 - $300. However, it all depends when you want to fly. You could fly round trip for $67 on Frontier 1/26 - 1/30 (Fri-Tue). If you wanted to fly round trip 12/22 - 12/26 it would be over $400. Both Frontier and Southwest serve those routes, and appear to be cheaper than American and United. Prices and carriers fluctuate, so if you have specific dates or a date range, you can get a more accurate estimate.

I fly frontier all the time.

It’s fine unless you’re a little pussy who whines about comfort on a quick flight.

I’ve had ZERO issues with them. I’m not a pussy

Flew last week on southwest.
2.5 hr flight non stop. TSA check point in Denver is a cluster. Keep an eye on Southwest airfare sales. No checked bag fees.

If you fly between November and February and book about 2 months in advance, you can get great deals. I booked a trip for January for $24 one way on frontier and then 2,000 southwest points coming back. That's less than $50 round trip

I just booked airfar to Denver for August 1 2018...they don't have our return flights available yet so I booked one way going there and each flight was $126.

They're down to 1 flight a day for this winter, it's pretty bad even for them. They used to have at least 2 flights last year, think 3 two years ago

Yeah it's only an A319 at 8:15am now. They could easily have a A320, 739 or two flights for ski season, but apparently not.
