Will be in Paris for five days, including next weekend, and hoping to catch a bit of the Wisconsin game on FS1. Might be a long shot, but thought I'd ask if anyone knows of a bar that plays American football. Thanks

ETA: More than likely, I'd guess my only option is to grab a VPN and watch the last bits at the hotel.

Not familiar with sports bars over there but ya gotta keep in mind you’ll be like 7-8 hours ahead in Paris . I was there for LSU bowl game last year and had to miss it .

There is a sports bar in the 6th on the corner where rue de Buci turns in to rue St. Andre des Arts.

It won’t be televised in Paris.

Also, the game kicks off at like 3AM there.

I'm aware of the time difference - it's a 2:30pm CT kick, so it'll be 9:30pm there. Wouldn't have asked if it was a night game. Regardless, I figured it'd be a longshot for a bar to have any American CFB (know it's easier to find NFL), so I appreciate the responses, anyway.

Had time difference in mind, yup - 9:30pm kick over there. Responded to someone else and figured it was going to be a longshot, but figured I'd ask, anyway! Thanks

There's a New Orleans Saints bar near the Notre Dame that plays college football games.

True
There is a New Orleans and French Quarter themed bar in the Latin Quarter just across the river from ND. I happened to walk past it one night and decided to walk in to see if anyone had any connection to New Orleans. No one spoke English and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.

It shouldn't be a long shot at all in a city the size of Paris. There is always a bar or two dedicated to American sports.

I watched 2019 LSU break the Bama losing streak from a basement bar in Rome with 40 other Bama/LSU fans. The next week, I watched the LSU/Ole Miss game in Florence at a bar full of American exchange students.

The one I was at was covered in saints stuff. They spoke English and had cheap drink specials. It was called "New Orleans cafe".
2 for mojitos and I barely remember the bike ride back to my hotel.

Yep. That is the New Orleans bar I was talking about.
And the Mazat is the sports bar I was talking about. It is right next to La Jacobine Restaurant that I went to based on recommendations from this board. Good little bistro.

Bring an iPad and bring it to the lounge if needed. I have Hulu, but was able to watch games on CBS Sports without logging in from multiple countries depending on what service your game is televised on.
