Yeah, small crowds, epic terrian and great scenery at either one. Can't really go wrong.

Looks like another big storm next Tuesday-Thursday. Park City may get another foot or so.

Breck still only has 16 runs open according to the Epic Mix app. Vail is at 71

Well Crystal looks to be at 19" so far with more on the way today and tomorrow. I'll head up there on Monday

Yup. We'll get to some forecasting later today. Last night's tornado outbreak got my brain off snow for a minute.

Maybe they’ll have more open by Monday. Still lower stuff with 3 runs for today right? I am planning on going up Friday.

Yeah that's my hope. It doesn't look like they updated the mountain report today, still says 12/10 at 7:40am. Surprised unless their reporter is out skiing. Had some blue skies here for a bit but looks like those are gone and additional rain/clouds are moving back into the area.

Keystone hasnt been well placed recently, with a lot of west to wsw winds on these storms. Though I would imagine they had a good day yesterday, bitter NW wind and enough to snow on me (snow/rain shadow here, so it was hitting on the mountains too).

We'll get another storm this week before Friday, and cold enough for all day snowmaking since Thursday. Ill bet some more will be open by Friday.

Winter Park had pretty brutal conditions today, and was significantly more crowded than Copper. I think I’ll stick to Copper until Mary Jane opens...

We are flying in to Montrose (MTJ) and need to get to Telluride. I’m sure there are shuttles… anyone have a specific one they recommend? Will be 4 guys.

Next storm is going to be great for the southern mountains, not sure how well this wind direction translates to the I70 group. Low pressure to the northwest, wind out of the south for most of it.

Utah does well with that low track, and obviously Tahoe is in for a ridiculous snowfall this week.

Ensembles are split on a storm system next weekend but getting some agreement on a pattern that might drop one more storm right around Christmas.

Trying to plan a last-minute, quick 3-day (5 including travel) ski trip with wife who has never been skiing. On a budget. Any recommendations? Or should I wait until 2022-23 season?

We went to Purgatory a few years ago and it wasn't expensive. Still want to try Wolf Creek. There just isn't much to do there other than ski.

If you can get good deal on flights Whitefish in Montana is really nice and affordable. Otherwise maybe Powder Mountain in Utah or Loveland in Colorado.
