Seems like this is how it always ends up.

@hail what are you doing as a replacement?
In late 2021 it seems like there’s only 2 alternatives in Hulu with live tv and fuboTV, right?
Am I missing something?

This is why I'm just sticking to cable. It's all going to be the same price in 2 more years.

I think they did the same when they were negotiating with NBC. They’re trying to convince people not to bolt for another TV service. Basically “look, we’ll discount our service and you can sign up for Disney. Please don’t cancel us completely.”

No I think you are right. If you need sports I think you are are stuck with either of those.

May try Hulu live or just find other ways to watch my limited sports

First the Bally Sports (Sinclair) thing, now this?

I freaking hate that I may have to go back to DirecTV stream.

84.99 is ridiculous.

This is why I'm about to just say frick all of it. It was inevitable that once the content owners (Disney in this case) had more bidders per consumer (your local cable company, YTTV, Sling, etc) for their content, that would drive their ask price up.

It's a free market paradox (maybe that's not the right word) where more competition and choice for consumers leads to higher prices.

Any updates on this today (Thursday)? I wasn't sure if the lightswitch flipped [OFF] at 12midnight tonight or 12midnight Friday night?

YouTube TV doesn’t realize this isn’t NBC and peacock.

People are going to cancel the shite out of service if they don’t make a deal.

Could very well be the death of YouTube tv and I’ve had it since 2018 or 2017.

… still patiently waiting to see what happens. Does Cinderella’s coach turn into a pumpkin at midnight?

They always make a deal. I really wish companies would stop putting the customers in the middle of their domestic disputes. It's one thing to let us know there is a dispute, but these emails containing their bitching are a little much.
