YouTube is so slow

Nothing is wrong with my internet connection but the last 3 days YouTube has been painfully slow. Like it won't even load 1:00 videos. I have 19MBPS so this shouldn't be an issue.

Yep. Have adblock and I get a 5-10 seconds of black screen. It's as if I have to wait for a portion of an ad to pass even though I don't see it. I was waiting to see if adblock comes up with a fix. I may try a different ad blocker and see if it continues.

That is not the case for me. I have cox. This seems more like youtube has done something to try and counter blockers and the blockers need to do an update to one up youtube. I could be wrong, but I had a similar issue a while back and it was solved by an ad blocker update.

I have Comcast in Atlanta. I know they throttle me. It's possible.

I don't have adblock and it's been slow all week. I've tried chrome and firefox and both are unbelievably slow.

Doing the same thing to me this morning at the gym, it was working fine at the house. Its always worked fine here until today, now it's beyond slow.

I haven't had any issues. Don't use Adblock on YouTube though because I have Red.
Disable hardware acceleration in Chrome advanced settings at the bottom.
Open Adblock and manually check for updates.
Or disable adblock when on youtube and try adblock for YouTube instead. I always had a much better experience using Adblock for YouTube instead of adblock or adblock plus especially.

Going through the same right now. My youtube is awful right now and the picture is like 480 if that, it's terrible.

Now I'm having the same problem at home, my son uses a old iPhone thats wifi only to watch YouTube and it's not working. The adds play but after that it's a continuous buffering.
