Love the service, but it's going away so I gotta find a new provider. I've been looking and it seem there is difference in the channel line up. I had the core package and I pay $75/month. $65 base but I add the sports package for football season for $10, which gives me redzone, and a lot of regional Fox sports stations that allow me to keep up with HS football around the country. But it appears Vue was the only service that offered NFL Network,TBS,TNT, and USA in their package at all. For those of you that are using other services, can you give and idea of your channel line up with the plan that most compares to what I had with VUE. Thanks in adavence.

Just goes to show you can have the greatest product in the world. If you don't market it correctly it will fail! Do you know how many people thought you had to have a PS4 to use the service. That is a failure to highest degree on Sony's part.

Never was really an issue for me. IMO the times I had an issue I would check my internet connection and would find that I was getting connections speed or download speed in the ranges that the plan I was pay for promised. Could be unrelated but that's my 2 cents lol!

Looks like they are doing something with YouTube TV

Vue when you log in telling subscribers to switch to YouTube TV after it shutdown

Expect the app on PS4 soon

Yeah saw that. If they are gonna get the same channel line up I'm in. I guess we'll see. Gotta month to decide.

Yeah they sent an email outlining the end and ended by saying try YouTube tv. You'd think they'd offer some type of promotion besides a free trial.

I may see if I can borrow my parents ESPN and Fox Sports password. I’ve got Vue and only watch ESPN and the Pelicans games on Fox Sports. Total waste of money.

Been doing research pretty much all day. And I am leaning toward YouTube at the moment. It kind of surprised me because, I felt like it was gonna Hulu lol. But we down have to switch until the end of next month so I'll keep on looking at all my options, to make sure I'll be happy with whoever I switch too.

Google fan boys will tell you YouTube tv regardless of Redzone being your favorite channel

I used Vue at the beginning of football season and stuck with it for two months. Once they announced the shut down, I switched to sling. I like the sling interface a bit more than Vue and sling responds much faster when changing channels. I haven’t had any of the buffering issues I had with Vue either.

Vue had a much better channel line up but redzone is my number one priority this time of year. Vue also pissed me off because if I was out of town I couldn’t watch it at the same time as my wife. With sling we can watch in two different locations at the same time.

I’ve been doing a lot of research looking at the streaming services and I’m pretty sure I’m going to Fubo TV once Vue shuts down. They have all of the sports networks including NFL network and RedZone. They do not have ESPN, but once football season is over I don’t care. I hate the talking heads on ESPN anyway and only need it for games that are on it.

I want a service that has A&E and AMC and they are the only one that has both. Plus they do stream games in 4K which no other provider provides.

Interface is also a big thing for me and I like Fubo and YouTube Tv on the Apple TV. ESPN/Disney do own a part of Fubo Tv so I would expect them to get it sooner or later. The problem is that ESPN/Disney costs about $16 per subscriber and they require services to carry them on their lowest tier, which would bring costs up.

I may also consider a YouTube tv/Philo combo since I could get both A&E and AMC. The price would be the same as Fubo highest tier minus the convenience and 9 Showtime channels, NFL network and RedZone.

Why is it that nobody offers just a straight sports bundle?

Even Fubo forces you to pay for craptastic channels with their bundle. Three black entertainment television channels, two MTV channels, logo etc...

OANN for news plus Philo for the non, sports, non news channels plus a straight sports streaming service would be the holy grail of tv streaming.

I like psvue interface. So you tube tv isn’t that bad I guess.
