Looking to purchase the earbuds for my work-out and speaker for the pool/beach. I am looking at the beats for ear buds and Braven for speaker. Please shed some light on this so I do not make a terrible purchase.

Thanks!!

For speaker check out the jbl charge 2 plus. Great bass. Can use it to charge your phone

Eta: also fits nicely into a golf cart's cup holder

You can't beat the UE line of speakers.

Water proof, loud as hell, sound great.

The boom 2 is awesome, the mega boom will knock your socks off.

(Qualifications: I own/have owned a ue boom, ue mega boom, ue roll, Bose soundlink iii, soundlink mini, jawbone big jam box, and a Jbl pulse)

The ue line doesn't compare to the jbl extreme. Get it. You will not be disappointed.

Jaybird x2 for the earbuds.

QY soundPEAT. Look it up on Amazon. It wins hands down.

how long of a battery life do you get with the JBL Xtreme? It seems to have been dying on me a little quicker than normal as of late. I'm wondering if I got a bad battery

Best $20 Bluetooth earphones, imo. No issue since I purchased.

I haven't really pushed it's limits yet. It's always on a charger in my living room unless I'm taking it somewhere. How long is yours lasting?

it was getting a solid 5-7 hrs, but the last 2 times I've taken it out seemed to die more quickly

I have the Jaybird ear buds and like them. Use them 5 times a week, about an hour per, and charge them every Friday.

For earbuds, I have Jaybird x2. They're really good for earbuds. You can just get the original Jaybird earbuds if you want a cheaper option

I got these TaoTronics ones from Amazon about a month ago. I would always have issues with being a profuse sweater, and earbuds slipping out. These were great for ~$22 and I've been using them while doing yardwork and exercising.

I have a pair of TaoTronics also and love them. It's not the best sounding headphones but for the price, they're perfect.

I'm with GFunk I recommend the Soundpeats:

Soundpeats at Amazon

They've been rock solid for the few months I've had them, and are inexpensive enough that I can just replace them with a new pair if the crap out
