Multi purpose (gym/work/home) but affordable. Preferably not buds.

Anyone have any recommendations here? I've been using a pair of $25 ones off Amazon, they work ok for a little while, but I am usually lucky to get 4 months out of them before I have to replace again.

Apple ecosystem? Airpod Pros (yes, they're buds).
Android ecosystem? I've heard good things about the new Google Pixel buds. Yes, also buds.

I don't think they sell them anymore but I have a pair of Jaybird headphones that are wired that are also good. Just think Jaybird went all buds the last year or 3.

I've got the Bose wireless noise cancelling headphones that I like a lot, but people seem to have a love it or hate it relationship with Bose. Not sure which camp you fall in.

Just most everything has moved to "buds".
I just remembered mine are the Jaybird Tarah Pro's. Those may not be made anymore but you can probably find those on Amazon for cheap. LINK

That is not true at all.

There are some super high quality over the ear and around the ear wireless headphones out there.

OP, I personally love Sennheiser.

I have the Sony XM4 over the ear. Sound is great. Chose them over Bose b/c I have big arse ears and the Sonys were more comfortable in that regard.

Plantronic is an often unknown headphone brand. They make quality stuff that may be more work oriented but can certainly work in other environments. I love my Voyager 8200s.

I own these Sennheiser Bluetooth headphones. They fit snug enough to run in. Use them when I fly. I liked them so much I upgraded to another headphone I keep at my office.

I bought these from Amazon for using while I mow and I find myself using them a lot. They sound good and they battery is great. I’ve never had a connectivity issue with the and I’ve had them paired with an
iPhone and Android phone. They are pretty cheap but I’ve had mine for almost 2 years and they’ve held up well.

I’ve had good luck so far with Open Run Pro by Shokz. Was a little skeptical at first but they are awesome.
