Give limitless TV a whirl. Thank me later.
Can you give a little review?
What's the cost? (is that $9.00 a month and does that cover all the channels?)
How's the stream, is there a lot of buffering?
Big line up of channels?
Do channels work all the time?
I am using the fire tv..
Have you used other IPTV to compare?
TIA

still relatively happy with SET TV. They did another upgrade yesterday so I will see how the reliability is over the next few days

PSVue in the DFW area now has all live OTA broadcast networks; ABC was just added, so now it has live, local ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX.
And DVR on all of them.
And DVR on all of them.

check out terrarium tv. It's an .apk and is independent of kodi
I put Droidbuddy 2 on my Firesticks. Now all I use are Terrarium and Mobdro. I still have Dish, but dropped all premiums since Mobdro has them. It's definitely the fastest app I have seen on a stick!

I'm trying to update right now. I've been using covenant which has been working well but I'm trying to find something new.

So I've been paying $20 for slingtv for a few months but I see in this thread that there is something called SETTV for $20 with way more channels. Am I missing something or am I dumb not to switch?
And it includes HBO channels?

I put set tv free trial on last night. Even though it says HD some channels still look like they are in SD. You get plenty channels though. Even the NFL package as well as porn.

using direct now for football...of all the services i've tried this one has the least amount of delay when compared to regular cable.

i have Vue, is there anyway to watch NBC Sunday night football if i don't have NBC local channel? The NBC sports app says I can't view it. I can reddit stream it, but didn't know if there was an easier solution.

more channels than I can list, all sports packages, movie packages, etc. works really well about 95% of the time. WIth all IPTVs, there is a little buffering, but for the price, you cannot beat it, and the buffering is really minimal.
you need a hardwired internet connection with a minimum of the firebox to really get the best results.

Ace-TV & Flawless are pretty nice as well, but I don't want to talk much about IPTV honestly.
What I Really came into this thread for was to bring attention to the "Haystack" app.
Haystack is similar to a newsreader but uses news video highlights from each day and many many sources rotating topics and news as you customize it.

Interested in getting the boards opinions about OTA DVRs. What are the best options or the cheap ways to do it, besides buying a $600 TiVo

Just bought a 4 tuner Tablo, 2TB hard drive, and flatwave type antenna for $385... hooked it up in about 5 minutes and now have 13 channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc. - crystal clear - 15 miles from broadcast towers) 5 tv's using Apple, Roku's, and fire stick & was sold on Tablo b/c of it's wifi to connect w/ them- working great.
I think the Mohu Airwave for $150 is worth looking into if you are near the broadcast towers - I don't know if it's a DVR but it will give you all the channels and uses wifi (my main concern) and has the antenna

Can anyone link me to that spreadsheet that shows the streaming services along with each channel lineup so you can compare and contrast?
I've seen it before, it's an Excel or Google doc.
Thanks!

I have a tx8 android box. I need to update and install a debrid service. Does anyone know how I go about it?

YouTube TV works really good. Never the hint of any buffering issues whatsoever. And the quality is great. I've been using it for a little less than two months. Unlimited DVR. And you can watch your recordings from anywhere. Picks up local programming no matter what city you're in. I travel a lot to be able to test this.
For those cord cutters considering this, do it now. $35 a month, about $37 including taxes. Install HD OTA antenna in your attic and you'd be amazed just how many free channels you get. I get well over 60 in the Houston area.

Hmm. I just signed up for the Settv trial. Installed it on a direct box and a direct stick. Both seem to be working well. Have to see over the next few days hownthe service is. All the “normal” channels I tried worked. Some of the Euro channels had no content show up but I could live with that. Interesting.

What's the deal with Sling TV having two different packages now? It's like they put just enough in each one but you really need both to get your normal full complement of channels. Was thinking about doing the trial this week to test it out but it's looking like $45/month for the base packages before the DVR option or anything else.
It looks like they're doing where one package gets you local channels but then it force people to pay the $20 for the other one to get ESPN networks.
