Want to thank everyone for the info here. Dropping those three boxes off at Cox last week was the greatest feeling in the world.
Don't know why I spent the past three months wondering about this. Also, have no idea why I've been using Samsung's shitty smart TV interface for so long instead of just using my fire TV more.

I cut the cord about a year ago and I couldn't be happier.
In the living room we have a DTV antennae that I picked up at CVS for like $15. Even though it was cheap, the picture's really clear and we get all of the BR channels no problem. We also use my Xbox One in the living room for Netflix, Hulu, and Sling.
In the bedroom we have a Roku 2, that came free with a 3 month Sling subscription.
Couldn't recommend pulling the trigger on this enough.

Anyone know how to change the default addon for TV shows in the fury build of Krypton? Right now the default is Zen but I'd like to change it to Exodus if I can.

Go to System and hit down to open the top menu
Select Skin Settings
On Home> Select Customize Home menu
Highlight TV Shows> Action ( you will see Activate Windows plugin://plugin zen ......yad yada)
Hit enter and go to Add ONS
Video Add On
Exodus
TV Shows
Create menu item here( Its the first one on the list after it gets the directories)
If the widget doesnt show the TV show settings on the home screen follow this:

No Limits Build is hands down the best Kodi build IMO and I have used a lot of them

Just watched my first movie on my FireTV Stick via Kodi. And dropped off my Cox DVR today & cancelled TV. I FEEL SOOOOO FREE!

I will check it out when I get home in a week. Thats a big build and my internet at home is only 12 mb (the most I can get)so it might not perform as fast as Fury for me.

12mb is fine, I only get 2-3mb on one of my boxes and it is still fine for most of the sources on there.

Is there an iptv channel within the No Limits Build?

My brother in law just got the Fire TV and he had good/fast internet. I installed no limits on his. It looks really clean. Think I may give it a try and see what it does with slower internet

You really should pay for a good IPTV service if you watch live TV, like $5 a month will get you every channel you want im perfect HD,but if you don't need to watch live you have all you need. I would spend $80 or so on a good box but your firestick can handle basic shite.

What service is $5. I use Flawless but it's a bit more even though I'm sharing it with my BIL.

My Fire Stick is the one that has all of the shite downloaded. I can use exodus to watch shows minutes after they've gone off air.

Has anyone worked extensively with 17.1? I'm still with Jarvis because I heard about buffering issues. Anyone here getting that?

I used Jarvis for a week and switched to Kyrpton. Never needed to go back. If I see it buffering too much, I stop and change the link to one that works. More often than not I dont have problems.
Im using a laptop that the screen went out on. I just use my TV as a monitor.

I don't use IPTV because I don't watch anything live other than sports which I have apps for but my neighbor uses this service which is $5 a month, in perfect HD and lightning fast... you just click the channel and it starts instantly. The guide and layout are also pretty cool but I don't think you can share it since the $5 a month is for one account. LINK
