Tech board sticky.

I cut it in 2012 and haven’t looked back. Use internet to stream Netflix and Amazon. Combine that with an antenna.

If you like sports, then you’re not going to save any money.

I cut the cord a few years ago. I pay $79 for 75 download and 25 upload. I stream Hulu Live with it along with a mesh wifi network. I have zero issues and I save around $100 a month.

I get every ESPN channel including the SEC Network. I rarely miss sports.

I've had YouTubeTV for a year or two. It's solid. It probably doesn't really save me all that much, maybe $50 per month. I like the flexibility of not having a contract or having to call Cox every year and haggle over the price.

I use DirecTV Now, cut the cord over 2 years ago. My cable/internet bill is now $110, before I switched from Cox it was $220 or some shite. Even my entry level contract with Cox was $160.

YoubTubeTV has pretty much every sports channel that I got with Cox and all of the locals.

$25 for sling and I get every LSU sports event. I have an antenna to watch the Saints.

I started on Sling (which doesn't have Fox News) to PS Vue (which does) and I had a HD antenna for local channels. $50/month

Now I'm on YouTube TV. $40 month, including local channels. I even got rid of my HD antenna.

And I don't watch that much TV anyway.

$50 for the year with an IPTV provider. Get every channel, movie, local channels, PPV, all sports packages. Going on 3 years..

ETA: they also have a free app for your phone to watch live

That's my favorite thing about it. I've always had a hard time getting CBS over the air at my house. I don't feel like running an antenna outside or to my attic.

I waited for a long time because I like to watch national news especially Fox News. There are many people who upload and live stream Fox News on the YouTube app. Have not looked back

Haven't had cable in three years. Still watch all the sports I want with my Roku.
