Any word on if the 75" 900E will drop to $2,000 for Black Friday or cyber Monday?

Still can't decide on whether to get the OLED 65" B series, 65" Sony 900E.

Or to price out 75s

Looking for 40-43" in the $200 range. I saw one in the link posted on the front page, but that now shows as $332.

Unfortunately, with technology you will always lose.

The only saving Grace is that most tv providers don't even do full 1080p yet so 4k is a ways out.

Picked up the LG 55" C series OLED from Best Buy yesterday for $1700. Holy shite does that thing have a fantastic picture. Wife is in awe watching her Christmas shows on the Hallmark channel. I will never buy another TV that isn't OLED until something better comes along.

I have a wall full of windows that bleeds light in and was told OLED would be a waste given my ton of natural light.
Yay or nay?

My den where I have it has lots of windows with plenty of light shining in, and the TV picture is bright and absolutely perfect. All the reviews I've read also talk about how good it is in bright light. Highly recommend.

Could someone give me the quick version on OLED vs LED?

Looking to replace my almost 10 year old Samsung (LNT5265F) with a 65" that will hopefully last as long. Going in den, not too bright. Debating between LG OLED65C7P and Sony XBR65X930E

Thanks in advance.

no.

go to best buy and check out an OLED in person. if you have never seen one before prepare to be blown away.

i've been shopping these for a few months as you'll see from my post history.

the OLED is the superior picture IMO, without question.

Price point is what should drive your decision because the upper end LED TVs still produce a very good picture which anyone should be happy with.

I am looking at a similiar situation as you except i am comparing the Sony 65x900E which is currently going for $1,500. and the LG OLED65B which can be found for $2,150 on Newegg or $2,300 with other credible sites.

So in this situation you get an awesome Sony LED TV running the android platform for $1,500.
but if you have money at your disposal then getting the OLED from LG is a no brainer.

either way you will be happy.

TL/DR: OLED is better picture, LED will be less expensive. go to rtings.com

The bigger question will be - will OLEDs drop a good bit in price in the next 6 months? I'm not so sure they will.

Also, will a regular OTA signal or a ATT Uverse signal be "uprendered" to look that much better on an OLED TV? Or does it just apply to the 4K only stuff that's on Netflix, etc?
