It's a good phone, but a bit overpriced for what it is.

One Plus 12 is a better phone for less money. Caveat: OnePlus 13 is about to hit US market in like a month or two. Will probably trade blows with the Samsung S25, but will be cheaper.

Been loving my 9 pro xl. I think the 9s are a big step up for the pixel lineup. IMO its the first one that really feels like a true flagship in the hand, screen, responsiveness, battery life, modem, etc. That said its not doing anything revolutionary software or performance wise, its just a good well rounded phone. If you're in the market I would consider it, but if you're happy with your current phone I wouldn't say you need to rush out and get one. I upgraded from the 7 Pro and it was worth it IMO.

Best pixel phone yet. Premium feel with all the enhances you could want. I don't feel like it's lacking anything at all.

Pixel phones are really good. They are too good, IMO, such that you are wasting money if you pay for anything more than the "a" version of the pixel lineup. Every 'a' since the 3a (4a, 5a, 6a, 7a, 8a) have been home run phones other than battery life. The last few generations even have essentially the same hardware as the higher versions.

I'm enjoying my 9 Pro XL. T-Mobile gave it to me for free with my Pixel 6 trade in. Couldn't pass that up. It is big and heavy though. I kinda wish I would have gone with the regular 9 Pro.

We have been running pixel devices since the first one they rolled out. They have improved drastically in the last 2 years. Great devices. They have held up extremely well

This. I have the 8 pro and it's slightly too big. I'm not gonna bother trading in now, I wish there was a midsize option when I purchased last year.

I guess it depends on what you want out of your phone. Both Pixel and OnePlus are Android. Both use flagship level hardware. The Pixel has a better camera. The OnePlus has a better chip.

Feel in the hand, the Pixel is better. I put all my phones in a case though, so that doesn't really matter that much to me.

Camera on the OnePlus is its weak point, but I wonder how often people even notice a difference between phones. It's like comparing TVs. In a store, side by side; you can tell a difference. Set it up in your home with a different source and lighting and you'll never know what the other screens will look like.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of what matters to you. Saving money for top specs or having a nicer piece of plastic.

I don't understand how any American would buy from a Chinese company. It's asinine to fund the government that wants to see the destruction of your own country.

As long as Apple and Google manufacture their phones in China, I won't discriminate.

If there was an all american phone, I'd buy it.

China makes and retains $8.46 out of $1000 per phone. That is less than 1% of the sale of an iPhone that remains in China. It's a ridiculous argument.

You sound like a Kamala voter.

Bro. Relax. You're way too emotionally invested in this. We've made China rich beyond their dreams because of our system of trade. If you want to cut them off. I'm all for it. I think most of us are, but our economic system is built on outsourcing jobs. If it's not China, it will be India or Vietnam or some other 3rd world shithole.

Get off your high horse. You're not a better person because you bought an iphone or a pixel instead of a oneplus. Give me a break.

I don't purposely support foreign adversaries and any American that does is wilfully ignorant.

You are not invested enough. We are in a cold war currently that will eventually run hot.

It's just like Germans buying Russian gas funding the war machine in Ukraine.

It's not a big deal until one of your loved ones is fighting in the Pacific.

I’ve been saying that since NAFTA. Our leadership sold us out a long time ago.
