Was the "blah blah blah" in your initial post referring to the fact that FUTURE emails for something or other from the large software company might go to junk mail, so be sure to check there as well? Because, if so, I get those from time to time. Reminds me to check my junk mail if I don't see something I'm expecting.

No. There, saying it could go to my junk mail. So what's the point of giving me a heads-up if THAT original email ends up in my junk mail, too?
It either goes to Junk mail or it doesn't. If it doesn't, no biggie. If it does, I might not see it for months.
