Even the $100/month plan is only good for 20-30 minutes twice per day. Fable is easily $50-100/hr if you’re laying down some work.

what are using claude to do?

I can see that. I just used the new sonnet 5 today via openrouter and cline agent. Using a CLI coding agent for contracts is super powerful. I was very impressed.

Used 15 million tokens in an hour which is nothing compared to the usual coding workloads and 95% was cache.

Guys sent me a response and I had a perfect one pager ready to throw back at them in 10 minutes outlining the last details. That 10 minute response would have taken all day for me on Google or multiple hours with a chatbot.

I’ve been using deepseek4 for everything (99% coding) but chose Claude when something really mattered.

It's good, but Claude uses a lot more resources to do that than other AI platforms, which is why I used up so much of my monthly usage so quickly, actually.

Notebook LM (part of my GWS subscription) does it at 85-90% and I can do a LOT more work in Notebook LM without the document upload limits.

If you want your output in a single document that's automatically formatted incredibly, and you don't mind paying for the tokens, Claude is definitely better than Gemini/Notebook LM, ChatGPT, or Perplexity

Use text. The coolest thing about using a coding agent, cline(the old Claude-dev) in my case is I put the redlined contract into my project workspace and Claude didn’t just judge the revisions against my project goals, but it also traced all of the edits back to the employees who made them using digital fingerprints, matched those with their job titles, and gave insights (and recommendations) based on who was pushing what language. It literally hacked their internal negotiations. I didn’t even ask it to. It was a result of the way the project was set up and the python libraries it spun up to analyze the document that it couldn’t read with its own internal tools.

At this point, I would say sending any document in Microsoft office format is a security or privacy risk. Always has been, but now it’s nuclear.

No. I get written authorization to use specific formats and I use the TOS of the provider (right now it's only GWS and Claude, and Claude just was added) to show the clients the privacy/sharing policies of the providers, so it's all clear.

Adding complexity and nuance to that is too much, too quickly right now.
