If it starts to suck, I'll just phone directv again. They kept the dish here, I would get promotional deals and would just suffer through paying $100 more I guess. But for now, I'm cashing in.

finally ran into my first issue. saying my shows is not working properly. i can see the shows i have, but when i click on it to see all of that particular show nothing comes up and an error message pops up on the bottom rt of screen.

Damn im moving at the end of June. They have to know that this type of stuff would happen. Just seems like it will be an extra step to get it up and running again after the move.

you can set up fav channels and it will list those first on ur guide in alphabetical order before all others. My big thing was no last or recall button. But i figured if you just press triangle on the ps4 controller, not sure what it would be on another device, You can pull up recent channels you viewed and it makes it way easier to switch quickly between channels. Especially if you are just flipping back and forth between programs during commercials or what not.

The interface does suck on the Fire but I assume at some point they will get it worked out.

I've recorded Favorites. What I don't like is no dates on the recording.
Also, I will be recording, for example, Morning Joe. If I wait until the show is over, I can watch it. Otherwise, while the show us live, I can't start at the beginning. This us going to suck for LSU games where I'm an hour late getting home and want to watch from the start. If anyone knows a way to go back, let me know.

I have never noticed this on Vue before. I always watch my shows like better call Saul about 20 minutes after they start. I am able to jump to start with zero issues.

Could just be the way certain stations license it. I will remain hopeful that ESPN allows the rewind while live.

Yea me too. I like to start a Saints game after about an hour and FF through commercials and catch up by the end of the game. That seems like it will not be possible with vue.

Just curious as to if you like and if it is worth it to try out. My concern is that my ps4 will be on a lot more and the streaming quality is a concern also.

Streaming is crystal clear. If you want, purchase a fire tv. It works just as good as a ps4.. but make sure to get a fire tv and not a stick. The stick doesnt perform well

I called DirecTv to just find out officially how much my ETF will be and as soon as I mentioned Vue the guy said they would offer heavy new customer discounts to me 
They must be losing lots of customers.
I was just getting an official idea of my prices not actually making a decision. But as soon as I mentioned Vue the guy was telling me to ask for discounts when I called back.
