I am going to let my 13 year old son get a PS5 and wanted to see which type to get ? He has had an Oculus and Switch in the past, but rarely uses them now.

Just go ahead and spend the money on the PS5 Pro so he doesnt ask for it later and you are stuck having to sell his old one and spend the money on the pro...

Make a matching donation to his 529 while you're at it. And turn on parental controls on purchases in the PS5 store on day 1.

Just get the cheapest one you can find. There is no real reason to get the Pro for a 13 year old imo.
