re: Playstation Vue Price Increase

My plan is going up in October to $45 with Vue. I'm considering of moving to DTV Now when it does and signing up my phone with AT&T for unlimited data. That'll knock off $25 from the bill then add the $20 for unlimited with AT&T and I'll have a similar service for the same price but now with unlimited data on the phone. And I'll still be paying $80 less than when I had AT&T uverse and Internet.
My only hesitation right now is the handy DVR service with Vue.

Same and glad I stuck it out with all of the issues on Fire TV. Running great now on Apple TV for our main TV.
Anyone using DirecTV Now on Roku? How does it run? My wife prefers the Roku, but I let my mother-in-law have ours because DTV wasn't available on Roku until recently. I'll probably get one of the newer ones if DTV runs smoothly.

Wanted to, but the old one we have isn't supported.

My plan is and has been $44.99 a month for a year and is not changing. It's better than anything else out there. Not going back to set-top boxes, ever.

Mine is going from $44.99 to $54.99. frick this shite
That's only 5 bucks less that the TV part of my cable TV bill and I get a lot more channels without streaming.

If they added locals I would probably be fine with the price increase.
I may be switching to Hulu Live now

I confess that I have an advantage over you in that I actually know what our TV part of our Cox Cable bill is which $60/mo.

Doubt it
Stop promoting big cable companies by trying to play down streaming and being pro data cap.

I'm leaning more and more towards jumping to ATT internet + Directv satellite bundled. Looks like you can lock in the internet at 50 mbps and satellite TV for right around 100$ a month for 24 months.
That's not bad and I'm actually paying 110$ a month being a cord cutter (for both internet + tv).
I left spectrum in February and shopped all the options, and went the dtv/att bundle route for this price.
It was even cheaper than going to one of the streaming services plus a la carte internet.
And the DIRECTV picture quality, on demand and dvr features blow away the streaming services.

It's entirely possible that she's telling the truth. We save less than $10 with DirecTV Now and internet over the introductory pricing of the cable company. Of course, they will jack the price up in a year and that $10 in savings will become $60+. Then again, we could always jump back and forth between cable companies every year, but frick that.

How much does that go up after 24 months?

People don't want to play the game of bouncing around over and over with tv providers and getting new equipment all that.

The cheapest bundle my ISP offers goes from $95 to $130 only after six months
100 channels, 100 down with a 300GB data cap. Yea frick that bullshite.
Their basic tv package with only 20 channels cost as much as we pay for Vue

You guys will always keep those guys in business
But ideally getting an ISP with no data cap and then streaming is the best way to go.
TV and internet in this country is so over priced compared especially for the quality of service to other parts of the world.

People don't want to play the game of bouncing around over and over with tv providers and getting new equipment all that.
But people prefer having their television content delivered via streaming internet, where the picture quality is less than traditional cable/satellite and buffering is a potential issue. Further, a traditional style remote with numerical input for channel selection doesn't exist.
People are only cutting the cord to save money, not because it's better technology.
I'll live with a service call once every 2 years to setup new cable/satellite service.
