VoLTE is Voice over LTE. It's a neat feature that routes calls through LTE and gives users HD Calling. Without VoLTE, your phone will simply fallback to old 4G/3G services (WCDMA/HSPA) in order to make/receive calls. Usually this isn't a problem since At&t deploys lowband LTE and lowband WCDMA/HSPA in most markets. This means data and voice coverage are mostly the same (with WCDMA voice being more robust).
But in markets where At&t doesn't have lowband WCDMA/HSPA, call reliability may become an issue. At&t has Nationwide lowband LTE, but not lowband WCDMA. This means that in some markets you can be inside a building with decent LTE, but have calls fail/go straight to voicemail because WCDMA coverage isn't on par with LTE coverage.
It's a simple matter of physics. Most cities don't have this problem, but there are a few that do. A few examples of where this issue exists are Montgomery, AL, Columbus, GA, Panama City, FL, and half the state of Mississippi.

yes. The mi mix 2 and mi mix 2s have global LTE bands and work on US GSM carriers.
I use it on ATT.

I pre ordered this phone. Then went and tried to cancel it right away because I was being indecisive. I really want to like my iPhone X. But I'm just an Android guy.
They told me I couldn't cancel and it was already preparing for shipment. Got it yesterday. I had every intention to return it right away. But damn this phone is amazing. I'm seriously leaning toward keeping it now. So smooth, solid camera, manageable form factor even for being a larger phone. Ask away if you guys have questions.

I've had the OP6 for about 6 days now, really like the phone. I came from an S7, the difference is obviously night and day. This phone is fast, has great battery life and I love it is almost pure android. This alone attracted me to the phone, the S7 had so much bloatware and on top of that AT&T added their crap to it. So far highly recommended!

I've gone totally unlocked mid-rangers since the first Moto X. See no reason to spend $600+ on a phone when mid-rangers are just fine for my everyday needs.

Do it man. I'm a phone whore. I switch phones all the time. Performance monster. I like it better than the pixel 2 XL or iPhone X I had this past year. You won't regret it. Get 8GB of RAM for sure though. It's worth the $40 difference.
I'm astonished at the performance for cost. Better than Pixel half the price.

My wife also hates how often I change phones. She doesn't want me to keep this one plus over the iPhone X. I was using. Blue bubbles. Luckily you can use iMessage on Android with wemessage if you have a Mac. This gives me the best of both worlds.

I have had an Asus Zenfone 2 for 3 yrs now and need to upgrade. Does the OP6 have any screen protectors and cases out? I like the slim clear rubbery cases so you can still see the phone.

The phone comes with a "smoke" rubber case and a pre-applied screen protector. They do make a tempered glass protector and OEM cases. Check their website out. Amazon & Ebay also sell 3rd party accessories.

Samsung phones have gotten way better software wise. But still laggy and bloated. Get a pixel 3 before a Samsung.

Yes. I couldn't pass it up. I had to open another phone line and pay off her V20. So for 230 dollars I got a plus and a note.
