Old AT&T plans

Anybody else still have a mobile shared data plan? I have a 30gb plan, and we never go over.
Ive been stubbornly holding onto it for years, but am thinking of giving it up to take advantage of deals that only come with unlimited plans.
What would you do? Is there any good reason not to move to unlimited?

Didn’t even know this was still a thing. I thought a while back they made everyone go to their newer plans.

Was part of an unlimited data family plan that dated back to probably mid-late 2000s. We held onto it thinking we had this unlimited data grandfathered in and its an amazing deal. About a year ago I went into ATT just to see what plans were like and it ended up being ~$90 cheaper per month for a new plan with unlimited data, tethering and HBO Max. Moral of the story, always be shopping rates even if you think you have a good plan.

We had the same type of plan back for the early 2000's and did the same thing last year with the new unlimited data, tethering and HBO Max.

You just can't get them anymore, but they haven't made me switch.
I hate giving it up, but that's probably irrational.

We still have a 12Gb mobile share plan with rollover. I think I roll over like 8Gb a month. Never go over it. I work from home and the wife is retired. Wifi 90% of the time. Costs me $91/month for 2 phones.

I also have a plan like this. We both use our iPhone 8’s like crazy and they’re both going strong at almost 4 years old. A year ago we also got close to changing plans to take advantage of new phone promotions. Oddly, not a soul at ATT could tell me what my new phone bill would even be, so we gave up. I’m not joking, either.

The 30gb plan you have
Is it the promotional price of $130 a month?

I still carry the 12GB shared plan with roll over. Never use the 12GB. I'm going to stick with it as long as I can. It is really cheap. I pay 95$ for the family

I have n old unlimited data plan and am happy with it. I’m afraid to make any changes on any line as I suspect I’ll get screwed.

While Sprint and not AT&T, I have an old SERO plan from the mid to late 90's that I hate to give up. It's unlimited everything for $55/month total. Completely irrational but I would quit having a cell phone (at least for a week) if I ever lost this plan.
