When I think about it the plus selling more makes sense. It's a smaller version of an iPad Mini that happens to be a phone.

We don't know the availability of the 6+ though. There could be much less due to production issues with it being a larger screen and larger battery.

well considering apple people have always said they don't want a screen that big maybe the deman for the phablet caught them off guard

Well that reservation system Apple.com used this morning when they couldn't contact carriers works pretty freakin well.
Just bought two more 6+ 64 with launch date shipping thanks to the reservation tickets I got at 3:30am this morning when it kept screwing up trying to contact Verizon.
Cancelled my Unknown shipping date orders with Verizon. So two of you may get your phones faster.

Well, I have no idea what the hell happened but I'm supposedly getting the 6+ on 9/19.
I gave up on the Apple site around 3:45EST and ordered through AT&T. Right before I went back to bed at 4 something, I tried Apple again and they gave me a reservation. Got an email about 30 minutes ago saying I could complete my order and checked out successfully.
I cancelled my AT&T order with the quickness. Hopefully something doesn't get screwed up. We'll see.

I have the same email as you that says 9/19 delivery from Apple. I confirmed it with a call to Apple. It's legit.
Didn't trust Verizon at all once they changed my shipping date from 10/07 to unknown at this time.

Ordered at 7:30AM via Apple and selected in store pick up. Got my 64GB 6 in silver. Apple website is showing available for pickup on 9/19. Now I just need Kate Spade to release some cases for the new phone.
